HR Administrator
– Part time – 20hrs per week, may increase as the requirement/role matures.

Key Responsibilities
- Support HR Inquiries: Handle internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests, providing policy advice, assistance and information as needed.
- Maintain Employee Records: Keep digital employee records up to date, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Recruitment Assistance: Assist in the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, conducting induction processes and issuing employment contracts.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events, maintaining agendas, take meeting minutes and ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
- Training Coordination: Organise training sessions and seminars, ensuring that employees have access to necessary development opportunities.
- Policy Management: Revise and suggest changes to company policies, ensuring they are up to date and compliant with legal obligations and regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare, update, and maintain all relevant HR documentation in a digital archive, ensuring that all records are easily accessible and organised.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Experience in recruitment and employee relations.
- Desirable CIPD Level 3

HGV/Plant Technician
Full-time, Permanent. Immediate start
Salary: £42,000.00 per year

Located in Armthorpe, near Doncaster, John Mee Vac-Ex Hire are the premier hire supplier of Vacuum Excavators to the UK construction industry, with a fully equipped, modern HGV workshop to DVSA standards and IRTE accredited. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a professional, team focused and skilled HGV/Plant Technician to join our highly skilled and motivated team, maintaining a large modern fleet, predominantly Mercedes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy goods vacuum excavators to ensure they are safe and efficient for operation. This is a 4 on 4 off role, working a 10 hour day, with regular OT available. Some remote working/on call will be required to deal with breakdowns etc.

Responsibilities
- Conduct HGV vehicle inspections and repair in accordance with DVSA standards and the GTMR.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose and repair faults
- Use hand tools and equipment to perform maintenance and repairs on HGV and Plant
- Conduct mechanical and electrical diagnostics on vehicles and Plant
- Carry out forklift, soldering, welding, and other associated tasks as required
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary
Skills
- HGV Class 2 (Cat C) advantageous
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline
- Proficient in interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Experience with hand tools and equipment repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy goods vehicles, IRTEC L3 an advantage
- Electrical diagnostic skills are advantageous
- Ability to operate forklifts
- Proficiency in hydraulic systems
- Capable of heavy lifting as part of the job duties

We operate 24/7 and have established ourselves as the market leader in our sector in safety, quality, and reliability.

Role Description

Due to continued business growth, we are recruiting full-time Vacuum Excavator Operators at John Mee Vac-Ex Hire. The Operator will be responsible for daily tasks related to equipment operation, excavation, trench work, and equipment maintenance within various sectors.

The ideal candidate must be dynamic, process driven, a team player and willing to work at sites across the UK. We are the leaders in our field and are looking to recruit and train only the best operators.

Full NVQ certified training will be provided, inc HGV for the right candidates.

Qualifications
